Clinical Training Specialist - ICU Trained Registered Nurse

Brief overview of the position:
To ensure visibility, recruitment, growth and a full clinical function to all allocated hospitals at branch level, with a strict compliance to the provisions of the Service Level Agreement (SLA) with various clients.

Minimum Experience and Skills required:
● Matric
● National Diploma in General Nursing
● ICU trained (pre-requisite)
● Current SANC receipt
● A valid driver’s licence
● Minimum 1-2 years in clinical facilitation
● Minimum 3-5 years working in a private healthcare sector
● Good computer skill (MS suite)
● Good interpersonal skills
● Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
● Excellent facilitation skills and a passion for teaching, coaching, and learning
● Good conflict management skills

Duties and Responsibilities:
● Clinical orientation at office level
● Clinical orientation at hospital level
● Clinical supervision
● Clinical training, assessments and evaluations
● Handling IOD (injury on duty) incidents and ensure escalation to Head Office timeously
● Handling needle prick incidents and ensure escalation to Medworx
● Liaise with the booking consultant team on new recruits and orientation
● Incident management up to the disciplinary process
● Clinical administration
● Report writing and submission monthly
● Assist with any other reasonable function as and when requested by superior
